Inviting Arkansas February Issue

This was a fun fashion spread that I shot for Inviting Arkansas.  I will post the spread when it hits the stands.  I worked with a beautiful model by the name of Helen.  She had five children and her physic was inspiring...YOGA works.  Go Helen.

Working madly to get out of town, heading to New Orleans for the Nutt/Savier wedding event...more to come when I am there, lots to do before I can go.

btw:  ground beef is back in stock.-amy

Great to see many friends and clients!  Only about 8 more slots to fill for the year, I am grateful.

Snow Day

I had no excuse today not to blog.  We are all at home, school has been cancelled and the energy level in unbelievable.  We all went to the market to buy the stuff to make chili and of course all of the ground beef was gone....but there was Bison.  Lucky for the bison, there was a lot in stock in the North Little Rock market if ever you cannot locate it in Pulaski Co.  So, bison it was.

Then we felt a little like the Griswalds when we faired up a large hill to sled down, as we carried our homemade sleds to the top.  The sleds were made from....well lets just say that a jelly roll pan would have worked better.  Our kids were green with envy as we met a very nice family who had a beautiful sled, parallel to the red rider bb gun, but in sled form.  They were also dressed as if they had just come off the slopes of Aspen or Bamff HARD CORE....I guess I could have worn my fur.  That would have been an even better match with the sleds that we made out of nesting crates from our chickens!  Needless to say, our time was short at the top of the hill, so we headed home for Bison Chili and green tea (the hot coco was also out of stock at the market).

The highlight of the day came when we built a volcano science kit and let it rupture with vinegar and baking soda.

I resolute to Blog this year!

Okay, I get  it.  So, this will be my year to blog.  We will see how it looks in the end, I have no idea how it will turn out, kind of exciting!  I have begun my year by taking 2 days and spending it in solitude.  I am 4 hours in and it seems like it has only been a few minutes.  I am at a local undisclosed location and I called my mother to tell her I could not talk for 2 days, but to not be alarmed.  It was quite funny to me that she asked if I was okay, hinting that I might be running away from my 3 kids, husband, 2 dogs and 10 chickens....Of course not.  I do feel really lucky to have a calm and understanding husband who realizes and loves my intenisty.  So,  I am quietly planning my year and so far it has been enlightning.  Will share more, since this is my year to blog.  HELLO, IS ANYONE OUT THERE, I really think it might be a bit overrated, but I will give it a shot.

p.s.  If you have requested to be my friend on facebook and I have not responded, it might be another 6 months or so, because there is no way in hell I can do that too.  :)
